Gunfire erupted outside a football ground in Juhu on Sunday evening as Tiger Shroff’s car was approached by three men on motorbikes. The assault, which lasted less than a minute, saw the actors’ driver suffer a gunshot wound to the leg while Shroff escaped uninjured.
A video soon surfaced in which a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit—claiming to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang—declared the actor was on their hit list for allegedly ignoring their directives and supposedly collaborating with Salman Khan. Pandit’s remarks echo the gang’s long‑standing threats against the star, though no credible evidence links the two.
Mumbai Police have retrieved the claim video and are tightening security in the Juhu area. Officers say they are tracking the suspects’ motorbike leads and expect to conduct a raid in the coming days, while the gang’s Gujarat jailer, who oversees Bishnoi’s imprisonment, has been notified.
The incident underscores the growing menace of organized crime in the city, especially as high‑profile celebrities become targets. Shroff’s team has urged law‑enforcement to bolster protective measures for the actor and other public figures moving forward.
