Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, walked into the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur on Sunday, the seventh day of Navratri, and knelt before Gurudevshri Rakeshji to seek Maa Durga’s blessings.
The Mission, headquartered in Dharampur, has long promoted the mantra “Seva Hi Saadhana Hai,” linking spiritual discipline to community service. Adani said the festival offered a moment to reflect on the values guiding his business and personal life.
The group’s representatives joined a satsang at the Raj Sabhagruha where Adani discussed the purpose of human life with Mission leaders. Dr Priti Adani toured the Sarvamangal Centre for Women, met tribal women learning skills for entrepreneurship, and later visited the Mission’s hospital to hand out medical aids for children with disabilities.
While the visit was largely spiritual, Adani and the Mission’s social welfare arm, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, laid groundwork for collaboration on vision‑care programs that dovetail with the Adani Foundation’s community development agenda. The next step will be a formal memorandum of understanding to be signed in the coming weeks.
