Bus Rage: Man Killed for Refusing to Read Route

Imagine you're on a crowded city bus, and someone asks you to read the route out loud. It might seem like a small request, but for one man in Chennai, it ended in tragedy.
A 25-year-old man named Amarnath was arrested for allegedly killing a 75-year-old man named Chandrasekaran on a bus in Chennai. The incident happened on April 26th when Chandrasekaran boarded the bus and sat next to Amarnath.
Amarnath asked Chandrasekaran to read the bus route on the LED screen, but the elderly man refused. Instead, he suggested that Amarnath check with the conductor. Amarnath got upset and started arguing with Chandrasekaran. The argument quickly turned violent, and Amarnath punched Chandrasekaran, causing him to lose consciousness.
Passengers rushed Chandrasekaran to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. The police suspect that Amarnath was under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.
Chandrasekaran was a 75-year-old electrician who lived in Tambaram with his family. He is survived by four sons and a daughter who are all married and living in the area. The police have registered a case against Amarnath under sections 296(b) and 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Amarnath, who is a native of Villupuram district and works as a mason in Chennai, has been remanded to judicial custody.
