Gujarat's Class 12 Students Get Ready for Their Big Day on May 4!

Gujarat's Class 12 students have been waiting for what feels like an eternity, but the day of reckoning is almost here. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will be announcing the HSC results on May 4, 2026, at 10 am. Students will be able to access their results on the official website, gseb.org, using their seat number.
This is a big day for over 1.5 million students who took the exams across 1,701 centres in the state. The exams were held from February 26 to March 18 in a single shift, and now it's time to see how everyone did.
Once the results are out, students will be able to check their scores and grades on the website. They'll also be able to download their mark sheets and other important documents.
But what exactly does a good grade mean? In Gujarat, students need to get at least a Grade 'D' in every subject to pass the exam. If they get an 'E1' or 'E2', they'll have to retake the exam to improve their scores.
On the other hand, students who score above 90% get an A1 grade, while those with scores between 80 and 90% get an A grade. Students who score between 70 and 80% get a B grade, and anyone who scores below 40% gets a Grade 'D'.
There's some good news for students who didn't quite make the cut, though. If they don't pass, they'll get another chance to retake the exam and improve their scores.
The GSEB will be releasing the grading system and minimum passing marks details separately after the results are announced. Students will be able to check these details on the website.
