West Bengal Election Chaos: What's Really Going On?

Imagine showing up to cast your vote, only to find out that something's gone wrong. That's exactly what's been happening in West Bengal, where two districts recently faced some serious voting issues.
The Election Commission stepped in to fix things, ordering repolls in 15 booths across two key assembly constituencies: Magrahat Paschim and Diamond Harbour. These areas are in the South 24 Parganas district, and the trouble started last month when voting took place in the second phase of the state elections.
So, what went wrong? Well, officials had received some shady reports of electoral malpractices, which is a fancy way of saying that some people might have been trying to cheat their way to a win. The Election Commission didn't like that one bit, so they called for a do-over.
The repolls started at 7 am and will run until 6 pm. It's been a long day for the voters in these districts, but hopefully, things will be sorted out soon.
The West Bengal assembly elections were a big deal, with two phases taking place on April 23 and April 29. Now, all that's left is to count the votes, which will happen on May 4.
