The director has called the situation a major issue and has blamed the state government for not providing a stable water supply. He plans to request the Chief Secretary to lay a direct pipeline to the IIT Jodhpur campus during an upcoming visit. This would ensure that students and staff living on campus have access to clean drinking water.
