Repolls Scheduled for Bengal's Magrahat Paschim and Diamond Harbour
The Election Commission has made a big decision in the state of West Bengal. They've decided to hold re-elections in 15 polling stations that had some problems during the last vote. The main issue was that some voters weren't able to cast their ballots properly.
These 15 polling stations are located in the areas of Magrahat Paschim and Diamond Harbour. The Election Commission wants to make sure that everyone gets a fair chance to vote. So, they've scheduled a new round of voting for May 2.
West Bengal had an incredible voter turnout of over 90% for both election phases. But, sadly, there were some violent incidents that made the voting process a bit rocky. The Election Commission is working hard to make sure that everything goes smoothly this time around.
The results of the election will be announced on May 4. Right now, it's a close contest between the ruling Trinamool Congress and the BJP. Both parties are strong contenders, and it's going to be interesting to see who comes out on top.
