Meet the New Powerhouses Joining NITI Aayog
Dr. Joram Aniya is making history by becoming the first woman from the Nyishi community to join NITI Aayog. She's an accomplished academician with over 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and public policy engagement. Dr. Aniya is a professor and a member of the Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Regulatory Commission. She's also a renowned author and expert on Nyishi literature and culture.
Dr. Aniya's appointment is a testament to her dedication to indigenous knowledge systems and community development. She's written and edited numerous books on Nyishi literature and culture, and has published many research papers on the subject. Dr. R Balasubramaniam, on the other hand, is a public policy expert and development activist. He's a qualified physician and the founder of the Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) and the Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM). Dr. Balasubramaniam has a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University and has worked extensively on community development projects.
