Last Body Recovered From Dam, Death Toll in Cruise Boat Tragedy Rises to 13.

Imagine being on a boat ride with family and friends, enjoying the scenic views and having a great time. But what if the boat suddenly capsizes in a storm, leaving everyone in a life-threatening situation? This is exactly what happened in Jabalpur, India, where a 20-year-old cruise boat carrying 43 people capsized on Thursday evening.
The boat, operated by the state tourism department, was on a trip when the storm hit. Unfortunately, the boat wasn't equipped to handle such strong winds and rough waters, resulting in a tragic accident. The passengers were left stranded in the middle of the Bargi Dam, with many struggling to stay afloat.
Rescue teams, comprising of Army divers, National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, and local divers, were quickly deployed to the scene. They worked tirelessly to locate the missing passengers and bring them to safety. The search operation was a massive effort, with teams working day and night to find the remaining bodies.
On Sunday morning, the last two bodies were recovered from the dam, bringing the death toll to 13. The bodies were sent to a government hospital for postmortem. The state government has ordered a probe into the incident and has dismissed three crew members. The operation of similar vessels has also been banned in the state.
The incident has left many devastated, and the families of the victims are still trying to come to terms with the loss. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety measures and emergency preparedness. It's a harsh reality that accidents can happen anytime, anywhere, and it's crucial that we take necessary precautions to prevent such tragedies.
