Election Update: BJP's Rise in Bengal, UDF's Victory in Kerala

The wait is finally over for the results of the Indian state assembly elections. Exit polls from four states and one Union Territory have given us a glimpse into what's to come. Let's break it down, state by state.
In Assam, the BJP and their allies are expected to take home a whopping 93 seats. This would leave the Congress and their partners with just 26 seats out of the total 126. It's clear that the BJP is making significant strides in the region.
Tamil Nadu is another story altogether. Exit polls show the DMK and their allies winning a massive 128 seats, while the AIADMK and their partners trail behind with 86 seats. And what's this? Actor Vijay's new party, TVK, is forecast to win an impressive 17 seats. It seems like a new player is entering the scene!
Kerala, on the other hand, is looking like a done deal. The UDF is expected to win 78 seats, leaving the LDF with just 58 out of the total 140 seats. It seems like the UDF is taking control of the state.
West Bengal is another closely-watched state, and for good reason. The Trinamool Congress and their allies are expected to win 146 seats, while the BJP and their partners will likely take home 140 seats out of the total 294. It's a narrow margin, but the Trinamool Congress is taking the lead.
Last but not least, we have Puducherry. The NRC and their allies are forecast to win 17 seats, while the Congress and their partners will likely take home 9 seats. TVK is also expected to win 2 seats out of the total 30. It's a mixed bag, but the NRC is taking the lead.
