BASF to Launch Global Service and Digital Hubs in Hyderabad by Q2 2026

German chemical manufacturer BASF will launch a Global Service Hub and a Global Digital Hub in Hyderabad by the second quarter of 2026, the office of Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu confirmed on Tuesday (May 5, 2026). Senior BASF executives handed over a letter of intent to the Minister in Hyderabad, formalizing the investment.
The new facilities will serve as integrated centers supporting BASF’s global operations in finance, human resources, supply chain management, regulatory services, and in-house consulting. The hubs aim to centralize key administrative and digital functions for the company’s international business units.
The project is expected to generate around 3,000 jobs, primarily in IT and business services. State government officials said infrastructure and site preparations are underway in coordination with BASF teams.
BASF executives said the company will finalize location and staffing plans by the end of 2025, with operations set to begin in Q2 2026. The Telangana government will review progress in a follow-up meeting scheduled for August 2025.
