CRPF Head Constable Found Dead at Shopian Camp in Jammu and Kashmir
A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) head constable died on Wednesday at a security camp in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials identified the deceased as Surinder Singh, who was stationed at the Zainapora CRPF camp.
Singh reportedly fell unconscious late Tuesday night while inside the camp premises. Fellow personnel immediately evacuated him to the Zainapora hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Medical authorities declared the head constable dead on arrival. Singh, a resident of Hyderabad, was serving with the paramilitary force in the Kashmir valley at the time of the incident.
Authorities have initiated a preliminary investigation to determine the circumstances of the death. A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted to establish the exact medical cause of the fatality.
