Masked Gang Seizes ATM and ₹10 Lakh in Dharmavaram Heist

Three masked men broke into a private bank ATM kiosk in Parthasarathi Nagar, Dharmavaram, Sri Sathya Sai district, on the early morning of Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and fled with a cash chest reportedly containing ₹10 lakh.
CCTV footage shows the gang entering the kiosk at 3:34 a.m., using a lever to detach the ATM from its concrete base and tying it to a webbing sling attached to a waiting SUV. As the vehicle pulled away, the ATM was dragged out, the door breaking open in the process.
Police have identified the incident as a pre‑planned robbery carried out by an organized network.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses; a formal inquiry into the theft is underway, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward.
