Vivek Ramaswamy Secures Republican Nomination for Ohio Governor

Vivek Ramaswamy won the Republican primary for Ohio Governor on Tuesday, securing 87% of the vote following an endorsement from former President Donald Trump. The billionaire entrepreneur defeated challenger Casey Putsch to clinch the nomination for the upcoming general election.
The primary campaign was marked by aggressive rhetoric, with Putsch utilizing racist propaganda against Ramaswamy during the race. Despite the attacks, Ramaswamy maintained a dominant lead throughout the counting process to secure a landslide victory.
Ramaswamy will face Democratic nominee Amy Acton in November. Acton, a former state health director, advanced to the general election after running unopposed in the Democratic primary.
Both candidates are expected to begin statewide general election campaigns immediately. Ohio voters will head to the polls on November 3 to determine the state's next governor.
