K. Varun Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of the Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd (TGNPDCL), conducted a formal inspection of the 0.8 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic plant at Jakranpally on Tuesday. The ground-mounted facility is situated at the 33/11 kV substation within the Dichpally division of Nizamabad district.

The solar plant was commissioned and integrated into the power grid on April 11, 2026. During the site visit, the CMD reviewed the plant’s operational logs and assessed the current generation capacity to ensure alignment with technical specifications.

Reddy issued specific directives to engineering officials to maintain strict oversight of the facility’s output. He emphasized the necessity of ensuring uninterrupted power generation to meet local distribution demands.

Technical teams have been tasked with implementing a routine maintenance schedule to optimize the plant's performance during the high-demand season. The utility will continue to monitor daily generation reports to ensure grid stability.
