Assam Election Security: Chief Officer Assures Tight Measures

Assam is gearing up for a big vote, and the state's Chief Electoral Officer, Anurag Goel, has been working hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. One of his top priorities is keeping the electronic voting machines (EVMs) and strong rooms safe. He wants to make sure everyone knows that security is taken very seriously.
Goel has been talking to reporters about the measures in place to keep the EVMs secure. He explained that only a limited number of people are allowed into the CCTV monitoring area at any given time. This way, the security team can keep a close eye on who's in and out. And, just to be extra safe, nobody is allowed to get close to the strong room door without proper authorization.
There was a bit of a concern raised in the Golaghat constituency, but Goel looked into it and found that everything was okay. It turned out that five authorized people were in the CCTV monitoring zone, which is totally fine according to the rules. Goel personally checked it out to make sure everything was good.
The security team is working hard to keep things safe. Central observers and police forces are doing a great job. Even officials need to register and show their ID before they're allowed into the strong room premises. The EVMs are locked away in strong rooms, and multiple layers of security are in place to protect them. Candidates' representatives can keep an eye on everything through physical checks and CCTV surveillance.
It's clear that Goel and his team are doing everything they can to make sure the elections are fair and safe. They're keeping a close eye on things and making sure that everyone follows the rules.
By taking these extra steps, Goel hopes to build trust with the public and ensure that the voting process runs smoothly.
The security measures are designed to catch any potential issues before they become a problem.
As a result, the people of Assam can have confidence in the integrity of the election.
Goel's efforts are a big part of what's making this election so special.
