UDF Wins 12 of 13 Seats in Kozhikode in Kerala Assembly Elections

The United Democratic Front has secured 12 out of 13 assembly seats in Kozhikode district in the 2026 Kerala elections, marking a sharp reversal from the Left Democratic Front's dominance in 2021. The Congress and IUML led the coalition's sweep, with a possible historic win by the first woman MLA from IUML.
The United Democratic Front (UDF) won 12 of the 13 assembly constituencies in Kozhikode district in the 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly elections, final results showed on May 4. The Left Democratic Front (LDF), which held 11 seats in the district in 2021, retained only Beypore, where Public Works Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas was re-elected.
