Deadly Encounter in Bulandshahr: Accused in Triple Murder Case Killed
The police were on high alert in Bulandshahr after a triple murder case was reported earlier this week. Three youths were shot dead during a birthday celebration in Khurja, and police were working to catch the culprits.
The accused who was killed in the shootout was identified as Jeetu Saini, a resident of Khurja Nagar. He was wanted by the police for his alleged involvement in the triple murder.
The incident took place when a police team was conducting a check near Dharau police outpost. Two men on a scooter were signaled to stop, but they opened fire at the police team instead of obeying. The police chased them and surrounded them on Jhajhar Road, where they again exchanged fire.
When the police fired back in self-defense, one of the accused was hit and the other managed to escape. The injured accused was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
The police have recovered an illegal .32 bore pistol, cartridges, and a scooter without a number plate from the scene. The case is still under investigation and the police are working to catch the remaining culprits.
The law and order situation in the area remains under control, according to officials. The police have already arrested five accused in connection with the case and are working to apprehend the remaining suspects.
