BRS Leader Accuses Congress Government of Vindictive Actions in Telangana

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and former minister G. Jagadish Reddy has accused Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of mismanaging state administration and resorting to politically motivated actions. Speaking to reporters in Telangana on Tuesday, Reddy claimed the government was focusing on diversionary tactics due to its failure to address public concerns.
Reddy alleged that anarchy prevails under the current Congress-led government, describing its leaders as incompetent and foolish. He contrasted the present situation with the BRS tenure, saying public attention once centered on Cabinet decisions, but now the government's agenda is driven by vengeance.
The remarks follow the Monday Cabinet decision to recommend a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into power purchase agreements signed during the BRS rule. Reddy dismissed the move as 'foolish' and part of a broader pattern of selective action against opposition figures.
The state government has not yet responded to the allegations. The CBI inquiry recommendation is expected to be forwarded to the central government for approval, with the next procedural steps likely to be announced by the end of the week.
