Villagers in Odisha Fall Ill After Eating Street Food

A group of villagers in Odisha recently got sick after eating street food called 'dahi bara'. This happened in a small area called Jajpur district. So far, more than 50 people have fallen ill, but luckily, no one has died. The villagers started feeling unwell shortly after eating the food between 8:30 am and 9:30 am on a Friday. They immediately went to the hospital, and their families rushed them there as soon as they started feeling sick.
The health officials were concerned and decided to move the patients to the District Headquarters Hospital in Jajpur. The hospital staff took care of the patients and kept them under observation.
The officials were worried, but thankfully, the patients' condition is stable. There are a few patients with a mild fever, but the doctors are hopeful it will go away soon.
The Odisha Health Minister and the Jajpur MP visited the hospital to check on the patients and talk to the officials. They wanted to make sure the patients were getting the right treatment.
The health officials are now trying to figure out what caused the food to get contaminated. They've collected samples of the food and sent them to the lab for testing. They're also looking for the roadside vendor who sold the food to find out what happened.
