Deputy CM Stresses Public Interest in Welfare Scheme Delivery
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday stressed that all government decisions must be guided by public interest and ensure welfare schemes effectively reach the common man. He emphasized that the success of governance lies in the direct impact on citizens' lives.
Speaking in Hyderabad, Vikramarka reviewed ongoing welfare programs and directed officials to strengthen last-mile delivery mechanisms. He called for transparency and accountability in implementation to prevent exclusion of eligible beneficiaries.
The Deputy CM said monitoring systems must be real-time and grievance redressal should be swift to maintain public trust. The government will conduct follow-up reviews to assess scheme performance across districts. The next review meeting is scheduled for May 12.
