West Bengal Repolls Underway: All You Need to Know
So, what's going on in West Bengal? The Election Commission made a big decision to hold repolls in some areas where there were some issues with voting. This means that voters will get a second chance to cast their ballots. It's all happening in the South 24 Parganas district.
The repolls are taking place in 11 polling stations in the Magrahat Paschim assembly constituency and four in the Diamond Harbour constituency.
The Election Commission is taking this very seriously, and there are tight security arrangements in place to make sure everything goes smoothly.
The West Bengal assembly elections were split into two phases - April 23 and April 29. The counting of votes is scheduled for May 4.
It's worth noting that the decision to hold repolls is not yet final for the Falta constituency. The Election Commission will make a decision on Saturday after they get more information.
